The focus of this class is embellishing useful household items by woodburning circular designs called mandalas. This 2-hour class is beginner-friendly—no experience is needed and equipment will be provided. Class is from 12:30-2:30 on Saturday, June 8; cost is $40. Our visiting instructor is Gauri Bansal, owner of Prettyful Creations (prettyfulcreations.com). Each participant should specify ahead of time which one of four items they would like to work on (included in the class price): set of 4 coasters, salad set (serving fork and spoon), wine caddy, or small cheese board (see photos). Other larger items (such as a larger cheeseboard) can be purchased separately at class, or you can bring your own item to woodburn a design into (must not have any finish on it).
